NULAND NO COMMENT ON NAZI STATUES

The Axis of Silence – passing the buck?
FIERY TONGUED DIPLOMAT GOES SHY & QUIET ON ALBANIAN NAZI STATUES IN MACEDONIA

Former US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland and now an analyst with the US think tank the Brookings Institute, is infamous for a leaked phone call in which she swore about the European Union saying “F#ck the EU over the Ukraine but she now has declined to comment on WWII Albanian Nazi collaborator statues in Macedonia built by pro US Albanian extremists.

PASSING THE BUCK? NULAND NO COMMENT ON NAZI STATUES -BUT SAYS GO ASK US STATE DEPARTMENT

Former US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland has declined to comment on WW2 Albanian Nazi collaborator statues in Macedonia and why the US endorses Albanian nationalist leaders who have supported the building of these statues.
– BUT SHE DIDN”T WRITE PRESPA AGREEMENT !

Her spokeswoman also said Ms Nuland did not draft the controversial Prespa Agreement, signed by Greece and Macedonia which changes Macedonia’s name and erases Macedonian identity for US strategic needs in lowering enough Greek opposition to get Macedonia into NATO.

Statement from Anna Newby, media spokesman for the Brookings Institute:

“Brookings does not speak on behalf of the U.S. government, nor does Victoria Nuland, who no longer works in government. So, for several of your questions, you’d need to contact the U.S. State Department.

“Regarding the Prespa Agreement, you can see a brief response from Brookings here:

The US State Department has been contacted by Team Uzunov blog / Alternate Comma on numerous occasions but it has refused to comment about the WWII Albanian Nazi collaborator statues in Macedonia and Albanian Neo Nazism.

As for Amanda Sloat and her alleged role in the Prespa Agreement, she has never responded to Team Uzunov blog/Alternate Comms website’s question put to her. And it took the Brookings Institute over 8 months to issue a tweet (see above) denying any of its people were involved. The question is why the delay in responding and why a denial by the spokesperson and not the individual alleged to be involved ie Amanda Sloat. Is that because a spokesperson if hauled before a US Congressional inquiry can “truthfully” say that is what they were told to say? Hmmmm.

The real reason why the US won’t comment on Albanian Nazi statues is simply that it reflects poorly on Washington for having installed extremists via a 2001 war in Macedonia under the flimsy pretense of “civil rights” when the real motive is the creation of a Greater Albania. Postwar the narrative has been to polish up the rough edges of Ali Ahmeti and his crew by deliberately ignoring their Neo-Nazi ideology: ie ethnic cleansing of Macedonians, a Greater Albania and the clincher, veneration of WWII Albanian Nazi collaborators such as Xhem Hasa Gostivari by supporting a statue built in “his honour.”

Questions put to Ms Nuland of the Brookings Institute think tank in Washington DC, US

I was in Macedonia last year and have followed a story relating to WW2 Albanian Nazi collaborator statues that have been built in Macedonia after the 2001 ethnic Albanian war by Albanian nationalist politicians.

I have asked many key figures in Macedonia including the then US Ambassador Mr Jess Baily. The issue of the statues and the accompanying Albanian Neo-Nazi ideology remains a very touchy subject. The US Ambassador Mr Baily on two occasions declined to comment in the one interview.

You can see the interview with Ambassador Baily at the link (see above)

Other EU & NATO leaders have also refused to either condemn let alone comment. As you’re well aware Nazi statues are banned in Germany and have generated much controversy in Ukraine with complaints from many Jewish groups around the world.

My questions to you are as follows:

1. Why does the US endorse Albanian nationalist leaders in Macedonia [such as Ali Ahmeti, Bujar Osmani of the DUI party] who have supported the building of WW2 Albanian Nazi collaborator statues in Macedonia?

2. Why does the US continually refuse to comment or condemn the WW2 Albanian Nazi collaborator statues in Macedonia? [In contrast in 2017 the US Embassy in Zagreb immediately condemned far-right extremists marching through the streets of the Croatian capital.]

3. Did you, Ms Nuland, or Dr Amanda Sloat have any role in drafting the Prespa Agreement signed by Greece and Macedonia?
