Alternate Comms comment -2024 US Presidential elections. RETURN TRUMP TO THE WHITE HOUSE
Both Donald Trump (Republicans) and Kamala Harris (Democrats) are staunch supporters of US Cultural nationalism. Let’s not beat around the bush, pardon the pun!
However, Trump’s US cultural nationalism is focused internally within America whilst Harris is focused globally. Trump is the lesser of two evils – for non-Americans.
Trump makes bombastic and at times bizarre, contradictory statements. Under normal circumstances you would not give him the time of the day.
But Trump sees a business balance sheet determining foreign policy and wars. Meaning he wants to cut back on US global hegemony. Trump is the long awaited bitter medicine that the US Deep State needs to swallow down hard.
A Harris Presidency would be a disaster for non Americans and for that matter long suffering US tax payers who continue to foot the bill for US wars.
In terms of US foreign policy towards Macedonia, both Trump and Harris will probably not change a thing. The US will continue to favour Greece, Bulgaria, Albania over Macedonia. But putting Harris in the White House could exacerbate things.
It’s not much of a choice for Macedonia and Macedonians, being caught between a rock and a hard place.
The unfortunate thing for Macedonians is if Harris or Trump wins the US Presidency, the US wont change its foreign policy. It will still favour Greece, Bulgaria & ultra right wing Albanian nationalists over Macedonia.
The US would probably start a war in Macedonia if Macedonia moved towards Russia. The Albanian Neo Nazi extremists would be mobilised immediately. So I don’t think it’s a realistic option to move towards Russia.
It explains why the US Embassy refuses to condemn these extremists because they do the things the US Embassy cant do publicly.
If you recall pro US pundit in Macedonia Blagojce Atanasoski threatened then Opposition Leader Hristjan Mickovski with possible assassination, as part of a wider campaign by the US to stop alleged “Russian interference” in the Balkans and Europe, if he didn’t obey the US.
The threat was made in December 2023 and barely 6 months later Slovak PM Robert Fico was shot for allegedly being pro Russian. That’s what you’re dealing with.
You have to convince the US State Department through lobbying in the US that it needs to change its foreign policy towards Macedonia, otherwise it will end up partitioning it between a Greater Albania and Bulgaria.

Wokeism and Trumpism
Wokeism is not a term I like to use. I see Wokeism (Harris/Biden) as a form, a rival faction, of US cultural nationalism which is at odds with traditional US cultural nationalism, isolationism (Trump)- This to me explains the Harris/ Trump ideological and cultural dichotomy. Two contradictions of the one US Cultural nationalism.
Wokeism involves being concerned about “social issues” – eg gender, LGBTQ, abortion rights, environment etc. But the irony is Wokeism ends up supporting US wars and foreign regimes which are anti LGBTQ and anti environment and anti women.
You have “Woke” US cultural nationalists who sponsor regimes that kill LGBTQ people but lecture you on LGBTQ issues and morality.
To give an example of how Wokeism is used by US Deep State in Macedonia: the US demands that Macedonia hold a gay pride march and lectures Macedonians on “morality, gender and diversity” but then hypocritically supports ultra right wing Albanian nationalists in Macedonia who are openly homophobic and who condemn the Pride March.
So it’s the use of pretend social activism to draw in young idealistic, naive people; or to undermine foreign government that are seen as hostile to the US Deep State. It’s not a real social activism to begin with but a clever smokescreen to hide another agenda.
Trumpism is a reaction to that, an opposition to Wokeism.
When cultural elites misread the public mood or are out of touch they then wonder why certain things happen. It comes as no surprise that many experts were wrong in their predictions about the US Presidential elections. Donald Trump won big !
Trumpism is the strong, bitter medicine that the US Deep State needs to swallow down hard. From that perspective, electing Trump as US President was the correct thing to do for the US and American people.
The US needs to be introspective and focus on its internal issues and get its cultural and economic houses in order, leaving alone “world domination” in a fast emerging multi-polar world.
